5 years of living in Sheffield

 WOW! I was scrolling through my Facebook memories today and it showed me a post I've moved to Sheffield, five years today, I moved Sheffield on the 10th of September 2016. When I moved to Sheffield I never thought of half the things I've done while living here I would have done. Has it been easy? no, it hasn't been easy. Would it be easier if I went back to live with my Auntie in Malta? Who knows but it is not something I plan on doing. Would it be easier to move back to Leicester where you have friends and family?" No, you want to know why because I have friends here in Sheffield and some of them are like my family and they mean more to me than I can ever think of. A lot of my family down in Leicester I don't talk to anyway for the sake of my mental health as they like to pull me down.

So I am very grateful that I can call the city of Sheffield my home. I would love to say that I will stay here for the rest of my life, but I do one day when my mental health allows me to work in the media industry, which I know for me to work as a runner and then work myself up to become an editor because truth be told this face isn't made to be in front of the camera.  When and if I do work in the film industry who knows where it might take me, but it is nice to know if I do leave Sheffield that there is "A place where I belong" (if you know, then you are a true friend of mine)

I love that despite some low points they have been some high points like one of my dreams come true and that was to be on a live film set and that is for Everybody Talking about Jamie (Which coming out September 17th 2021) which is probably the best experience I ever experienced. I also have the film premiere of the film next Friday which I am going to write a blog post about that so please keep an eye out for that post. I should have it out no later then the 19th September so the Sunday following the event. Do not worry I won't be posting any spoliers I will just talking about the premiere which still i am shocked that I've been invited to it.
