Hi all sorry for the long purse

 Hello all, sorry for the long purse since my last blog, A lot has happened in the space of a year since I last posted. It got to the point where I couldn't keep on top of my blog on as regular basis, with everything I was doing. 

Early May of last year I received a part in a amuture production at The crucible theatre that was preformed from the 3rd of August until the 6th August called How can a city save the world? It was about these 5 people that was transported from the year 2022 to the year 2116. Where the Engineers have found out that there is going to be a massive explosion that could kill the 24 people that currently living in the city and they have tried everything to bring together all the tribes (Even though they don't like the other tribes.) so they can get everyone to safety. So they hoped that time travellers will be a great way to bring all the tribes together. (As the Engineers are the only one who can send them back.)

I played fatalist who apart of the Engineering tribe and I feel like as a character she has a good character development. It is suttle, but it is there and I feel like she deserves it.

On top of that i have done several workshops along the way through Sheffield people theatre which helped me gained skills, through writing, acting or directing. One workshop was how they spilt the show into each scene, and from that we was given the chance to get into a group of three and act out a scene well the third member directs us well giving us emotions to say these lines in. Like frightfully confident, or sweetly playful. two different ways you can you can act out the same scene. They both would say "I like to see you try" in completely different tone and each way will give a different meaning to that saying.

On top of that I was also apart of a pocket size version of Shakespear A Midsummer nights dreams. Which is possible one of my favourite Shakespear play. As it such a fun piece to play around with. Now you most think how could you condense it down to 45 minutes? I don't know how we did it either because we had 7 songs included within the show that helped guide that story. In this i had three roles. Vox Poxs, Mustedseed and Straveling (AKA as the moon, in the play within the play) we preformed this on the 28th of July.

During the show I had a sore throat, however I didn't want to let anyone down cause it was the only performance and I didn't know until I went in but somebody else was out, and there wasn't really anybody else to take my part. However 3 weeks later, I was in hospital, due to back pains on the left side and pins and needles. I spent 3 weeks in there and still now they have no idea what the curse of the pain and just keep calling it lower back pain.

Through this all I've been practising my writing skills through on online roleplaying site, where I play several characters at once and I have started to see my confidence of writing different characters. As well as I've been DMing in my Saturday games and I am slowly homebrewing my own world to hopefully DM my own world. However there is still a way to go till i advertise that I am doing that.

Now I know you possible be wondering my next post will be because it won't be daily, but I am hoping to do it one every one to two weeks. that either a book review, a f ilm review or a review of a show  I've seen. I am currently reading something and I am going the see Sherk next month on the 18th of October but I will post something before I see the show and set it for the 18th and then the review will be the following week.
